A collection operation you can review.
Modern Collections is an independent third-party collector authorized by the creditor. We conduct collection under our own identity and keep the creditor informed.
The file stays readable.
Your day-to-day view is the invoice, the work performed, and what happens next. The supporting controls remain available for a closer review.
- Operating coverage
- We assess the creditor, debtor location, debt, and applicable operating authority before outreach. Contact is limited to locations and channels where we are cleared to operate. Ask us to confirm coverage for your portfolio.
- Communication and consent
- The collection workflow applies contact restrictions, required disclosures, and recording-consent handling. Modern Collections identifies itself as the collector; AI voice identifies itself as AI.
- Disputes and evidence
- Disputes pause collection activity for review. Supporting documents, evidence requests, and the recorded outcome remain attached to the invoice. A resolved dispute does not itself authorize new outreach.
- A record of decisions
- Compliance decisions record the evaluated facts, rationale, and framework version. Audit events are append-only. A later decision adds to the record rather than rewriting the earlier decision.
For diligence teams.
Use these topics to scope a review of the collection operation. We can discuss your jurisdictions, invoice types, and requested documentation.
Coverage and supporting evidence
Ask for the current operating coverage relevant to your placements and the applicable licensing, registration, bonding, and insurance evidence. A published framework describes the process; the supporting evidence establishes the scope.
Legal collections are coming soon. Modern Collections is not a law firm.
Framework and change review
Location, business type, balance, restrictions, and communication channel inform the review. Updated rules apply to later decisions while the historical decision remains available with its original rationale.
For integration detail, review the placement and webhook guide. Submitting an invoice and being cleared for outreach are separate steps.
